OEMC 2009 is hosted by the Austrian Mahjong Association and organized by Mah Jong Club Baden.

Qualification system:
Players can earn qualification points in all MERS and MORSE tournaments from March 1st 2008 to January 31st 2009. The base ranks earned in each tournament are added, and the six players with highest rank in the qualification on January 31st can enter the OEMC 2009.
